Kate has loved to draw and paint since early childhood and basically never stopped! Kate studied textile design at university and has worked in creative industries ever since, including two years at a design studio in New York City during her early career, to now working from her own home studio and balancing family life.

Clients include Dashwood Studio, Little Sleepies, Sand + Fog, Asda, Sainsbury’s.

Kate’s designs have been brought to life on children’s clothing, shoes and accessories, craft fabrics, greetings cards and gift wrap, and now...kids’ games!

Kate says: “I would love to tell little Kate that when she grows up she gets to do a job where she draws every day! I use bold and bright colors to create whimsical worlds full of smiling flowers, cute fruit, and all kinds of awesome animals. I hope the love I put into my art shines through, my aim is to raise a smile and spread joy through the work I create. It’s wonderful to see kids inspired by my art and making their own versions of my animal characters, I firmly believe every kid is an artist!”
